Joyce Littlefield, MS, LADC, NCAC 1

I graduated in 2013 from Springfield College with a Master of Science in Human Services with a concentration in mental health counseling. I am rostered and in the process of working towards licensure as a clinical mental health counselor. I am licensed in Vermont as an alcohol and drug counselor (LADC) and hold a national certification as an addiction counselor (NCAC 1). I have been working in the field of mental health and substance abuse since 2013.
My clinical approach utilizes a trauma informed and cognitive behavioral base, and may include motivational interviewing, feminist therapy, narrative therapy, dialectical behavior therapy-informed approach, and solution focused brief therapy. Clients are encouraged to explore their thinking and
behaviors and identify patterns in their lives. Areas of specialization include: managing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, substance abuse, mood and personality disorders, and adjusting to life stressors.
