I have worked in the substance abuse field since 1986. I am a licensed alcohol and drug counselor and have been since 1997. I received my Certified Clinical Supervisors certificate in 2005. I graduated from Springfield College with my Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2008. I am a licensed mental health counselor since 2010. I work with individuals, couples and families. I can conduct a bio- psychosocial assessment utilizing a variety of assessment tools. I meet the client where they are at. I utilize client centered therapy to help the clients identify their strengths by utilizing motivation interview and cognitive behavioral therapy. I am well versed in group therapy and utilize evidenced based curriculums. I work effectively with clients who suffer with
symptoms of depression, anxiety, mood disorders, PTSD and other mental health issues. I have experience with working with adolescence, adults and the elderly. I help clients see that change is possible.
My office is comfortable and very confidential. I have a private entrance and the office is handicapped accessible. I am flexible to meet the needs of my clients in regards to scheduling and offer early morning and late evening appointments during the week and on weekends.
